LaSource is a Global Sales Agent to Praga Cars.
The Bohema is an exclusive, one-of-a-kind road legal hypercar with the breathtaking combination of light weight, high power and phenomenal aero – for the ultimate track day experience and full usability and practicality for the road. All from a company with proven race success.
Driving the Bohema is an experience like no other. I do not recall driving a road legal car that close to a race car. Not to mention the looks of it – it is gorgeous!
Romain Grosjean
Weighing in at under 1000 kgs, with a power output of 700hp from a Nissan GT-R derived twin-turbo V6, it utilizes motorsport expertise, with a race-derived carbon monocoque and aerodynamics honed in an F1 team’s wind tunnel, finessed by ex-F1 driver, Romain Grosjean. It is, in every respect, a very serious hypercar contender, well deserving of its €1.43 mn price-tag. Just 89 will ever be built, and as an official global sales agent, LaSource would be delighted to provide further information or arrange a test drive.
It’s remarkably comfortable, with a motorsport-meets-luxury aesthetic unlike anything else on the road. And it’s all beautifully finished in carbon, Alcantara and milled aluminum.”
Ben Oliver, Robb Report
Praga’s obsession with its sub-tonne target weight is highlighted by the Bohema’s cockpit statistics: structurally designed with 56 individual carbon parts, and trimmed with high-quality Alcantara and leather, the cockpit is expected to weigh just 34kg. Elsewhere, liberal use of carbon fibre, magnesium – in the alloy wheels – and titanium demonstrates a relentless pursuit of lightweighting.
The Bohema is beautifully finished in every detail. The independent suspension, which uses pushrod-operated adjustable dampers mounted horizontally for maximum travel, is a work of art in itself. Within the aerodynamically styled rear wheel arches there are deep storage areas, for which custom-fit leather luggage is available – big enough for a crash helmet, racing suit and boots, or a casual weekend bag.
“The car is sensational to drive, somehow making real downforce, massive power and flyweight construction not intimidating, but approachable, exploitable and fun.”
Dan Prosser, The Intercooler

Why James chose to add Praga to the LaSource Collection
Mark Harrison, Praga’s MD, is an old friend and colleague from my McLaren days. He approached me in 2023 asking for my opinion on a project Praga were working on. He told me they were thinking of launching a supercar and wanted feedback from a few folk in the industry ahead of making any firm decisions. I was fearful that I was to be presented with yet another sketch and a business plan based off a proposal funded by 50 non refundable deposits of £500k or more. We are approached with these types of proposal all the time and nickname such projects as “Vapourware”. As a duty to Mark I traveled up to their UK head quarters to share my thoughts on whatever it was they had to show me, but I deeply skeptical.
I knew very little about Praga’s 100+ year history and it was fascinating to hear about much of their many projects over the years, much of which was in commercial vehicle, aviation and even military vehicles. What matters to LaSource before recommending a brand is what is going to happen in the future rather than the past of course…
After a brief company presentation about their modern karting programme, their R1 race cars and their future ambitions they pulled the covers off a full scale model and offered me a seat in it. I slid into the cockpit and was instantly impressed (though I didn’t tell them that!). After studying all the surfaces and the engineering details for a few moments I turned to their Chief Engineer, Jan Martinek, and told him that the model was excellent and inquired as to who had built it for them. “Oh, no, it’s not a model”, he said, “Shall we go for a drive?”. I was shocked.
Minutes later we were tearing around the local B roads, in a remarkably capable, surprisingly compliant, high-downforce, sub 1000 kilo car developed with help from both Romain Grosjean and Ben Collins. Then on track, still on its street tyres, its power to weight ratio, braking performance and visibility means it converts from a road car to its more natural state: the fastest road car on the Hockenheimring according to Germany’s leading race driver/road tester.
Praga deserve to succeed in their ventures. They have approached the supercar world in absolutely the right way. They have been conservative in their approach throughout, risking their owning money rather than everyone else’s. Tempting though it would have been to wedge a bespoke V12 powertrain into the car, reliability would have been severely comprimised (as we have seen from a similar looking car from Gaydon).
With deliveries now starting I’m really pleased to see their hard work and proper approach pay off.
