LaSource is pleased to bring to market a buildslot for one of just 40 examples of the Bugatti Bolide. Set to be the last ever purely combustion-engined Bugatti, the last W16-powered car and undoubtedly the most extreme model ever to emerge from Molsheim, it’s an opportunity to own an invaluable piece of history. Built around Bugatti’s famous 8.0-litre W16 quad-turbocharged engine, the Bolide pairs more than 1,600hp with a 1,450kg kerbweight and advanced aerodynamic design. The development phase is well underway, with late-stage prototypes already undergoing extreme speed and aero testing and first deliveries in 2024.
Bolide’s ongoing testing programme is designed to finesse a car that is capable of up to 2.5G of lateral acceleration and generates nearly three tonnes of downforce at top speed. The aero package is even being carefully tuned to offer different set-ups for the most effective performance at the world’s most famous racetracks.
