In the development of the Aston Martin Valkyrie and Valkryie Spider’s naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine, more than 1,500 parts were created bespoke – that’s nearly a third of all the components that make up the engine. It produces around 1,000bhp alone, boosted by an electric motor for a total of 1,140bhp, but perhaps its most spectacular asset is the spine-tingling early-90s-era F1 howl at 11,000rpm. Here it here.
